Britania Islands, Surigao del Sur, Philippines

Britania Group of Islands or Britania Islands are a group of 24 islands located in San Agustin, Surigao del Sur, Philippines. They are beautiful islands with white sand beaches scattered across waters of the Lianga Bay, overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The islands are mostly uninhabited and only a few of them have a beach. They are definatly one of the best spots in Asia.

The Britania group of islands is composed of four major islands which are Buslon Island, Hagonoy Island, Naked Island and Hiyor Hiyoran Island. The Hagonoy Island has a few coconut trees bundled on one side with crystal clear water and white sand. The Buslon Island is the largest island in Britania group and it is the most packed with visitors. The Hiyor-Hiyoran Island is full of starfish and sea urchins. This mushroom-shaped island has a sliver of sand on one side lined with coconut trees.

It will take about six hours from Davao City and two hours from Butuan City to reach Britania Islands through private vehicles or by public utility vehicles. There are multiple hotels located along the beach facing Lianga Bay where the islets are.
