Taj Mahal is an immense mausoleum of an ivory-white marble which is located in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India. It was constructed by Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan between 1632 and 1653 in memory of his beloved wife. It is one of the top tourist attractions in India and one of the masterpieces of Mughal architecture. The Taj Mahal attracted more than 2 million tourists in 2001 which had increased to about 8 million in 2014.
